With Government proposals to increase the number of hours spent on sports and physical education, Energy Kidz offers a professional and high quality solution to schools.
Energy Kidz believe there must be clear and specific learning objectives, well planned and structured lessons, with good use of resources. This offers children the chance to develop their skills in all four aspects of the curriculum strands and programme of study.
All of our lesson plans can be adapted to suit your school’s requirements and needs. Our staff will ensure that lessons are taught in a style that will engage all children and encourage curiosity in their own learning, promoting Healthy Lifestyles.
We will provide you with regular individual child assessments, delivered to each class teacher at the end of every term. At this time, we will also share next term’s scheme of work and cross curriculum opportunities.
Energy Kidz Staff
At Energy Kidz we understand the standard of educational staff in schools needs to be of an exceptionally high quality. We ensure our sports tutors meet the highest standard and fulfil our strict criteria.
Energy Kidz take child safety very seriously; only working with the best coaches. All our coaches are enthusiastic, inspiring and passionate individuals who are CRB checked to Enhanced Level, Sports first aid qualified and hold qualifications/extensive experience within the sports on offer.
The same coach delivers all sessions ensuring continuity with both children and staff. In the unlikely event of illness, Energy Kidz will aim to provide cover.
What we provide
Key Stage 1:
Large Ball Skills, Medium Ball Skills, Throwing & Catching, Striking Games, Athletics, Gymnastics & Dance.
Key Stage 2:
Football, Hockey, Rugby, Basketball, Netball, Tennis, Cricket, Rounders, Athletics, Gymnastics & Dance.
The aims and objectives detailed in our lesson plans are developed from curriculum maps and schemes of work. Energy Kidz lesson plans ensure structured and progressive learning, thus meeting the standards of the school and OFSTED.
Energy Kids - PPA Packages
PPA Morning (9am - 12noon) - 3 Hours Curricular Coaching
PPA Afternoon (1pm - 3pm) - 2 Hours Curricular Coaching
PPA Full Day (9pm - 3:00pm) - 5 Hours Curricular Coaching
PPA Single (Any time) - 1 Hour Curricular Coaching
Energy Kidz can also include an afterschool club within the PPA cover package; all extracurricular revenue from this is retained by the school.
